To establish an authoritative association which represents the interests of NCGA members to consumers, trades and industry groups, state and commonwealth departments.
To take a leading role in establishing industry guidelines, standards and regulations for the measurement, manufacture and installation of coloured glass panelling taking into consideration the highest standards of OH&S for consumers and all parties handling coloured glass panelling.
To encourage and oversee innovation, research and development of coloured glass panelling in all areas of application.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
Formulating guidelines and operating procedures to achieve the highest OH&S standards in regard to coloured glass panelling
Liaising with trade, industry and governments in all aspects of coloured glass panelling
Offering practical advice in all aspects of coloured glass panelling to all parties
Monitoring the activities of all members with regard to upholding the accepted standards of the NCGA and where required taking appropriate action to ensure these standards are upheld
